Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AI Triage Agent for Jira Service Management and any related services provided by A2A Gateway ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

A2A Gateway provides the AI Triage Agent (the "App"), a Forge app listed on the Atlassian Marketplace that automatically generates AI-powered draft replies on new Jira issues using your Jira and Confluence content as context.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of your organisation. The App is intended for business use within Atlassian Jira Service Management.

3. Subscription and Billing

  • Subscriptions are managed and billed entirely through the Atlassian Marketplace. A2A Gateway does not collect or store payment card information.
  • Pricing, billing cycles, and refund policies are governed by Atlassian Marketplace Terms.
  • A free trial period may be available as offered on the Marketplace listing. After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice via the Marketplace listing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App to process data in violation of applicable laws, including data protection laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measure of the App.
  • Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure.
  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Use the App to generate content that violates Atlassian's Acceptable Use Policy or Anthropic's Usage Policies.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all Jira issues, Confluence pages, and other content synced through the App. By using the App you grant A2A Gateway a limited licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to sync the content you provide to the App, including compliance with any applicable data protection obligations regarding personal data contained in your Jira or Confluence content.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • Draft replies generated by the App are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and any decision to send them.
  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not send drafts to customers without review.
  • A2A Gateway makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its underlying code, models, and design, is owned by A2A Gateway or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a licence to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the App as described.

A2A Gateway is built on an open agent platform. The hosted service is proprietary. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to the underlying source code beyond what is necessary to use the App as described.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, A2A GATEWAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A2A Gateway from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Atlassian Marketplace. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice.
  • Upon termination, we will archive your data. You may request permanent deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Marketplace listing. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
